The Northwest Georgia Workforce Development Area’s Mobile Career Center is making its debut as the newest way to serve employers and individuals in career and job development. The lab provides assistance in job readiness and job search activities as well as information on Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funded training opportunities throughout the fifteen-county northwest Georgia region.

About the Mobile Career Center

The Mobile Career Center is a 13-station state-of-the-art computer lab, equipped with a complete array of services that include satellite-connected internet, printer, scanner, and copier. The unit is fully ADA accessible with available wheelchair lift, wheelchair accepting workstation and auxiliary equipment.

The Mobile Career Center provides workforce solutions for businesses and individuals. Businesses may use the mobile unit for recruiting, pre-employment screening, interviewing and training. Individuals will be served through various job search/career development activities such as on-line job search, resumé and cover letter development, on-line tutorials and individual assessments and exploration of training eligibility and options.
