The Business Informer is a newsletter that shares resources and strategies for success with businesses. Information is shared from across the border of Alabama / Tennessee and making the best use of all available resources in Northwest Georgia. The goal is to advance the region’s economic competitiveness through collaboration of efforts to promote talent development of the area’s workforce. Information is shared with employers about the training available to their workers, whether on-the-job training, customized training, apprenticeship or incumbent worker training.

The Career Depot newsletter shares Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) information to improve the quality of job training and marketability of Georgia’s workforce for the economic growth of the state. The information and resources shared through the newsletter provide updates on the training providers in Northwest Georgia for adults, dislocated workers, and youth.

Water Source

Water Source is a newsletter covering news and information related to water resources in Northwest Georgia. Within our rapidly growing region, increasing demand for water will continue to accompany this growth. The streams and rivers help supply this need for water, but they also harbor outstanding biological diversity and provide recreational opportunities for our growing population. This newsletter is meant to encourage careful management of our precious water resources and collaboration among governments, agencies, groups, and residents by providing updates on current technology, outreach, and green infrastructure in the region.
