CHANGES TO THE BUSINESS INFORMER

Howdy folks!  There’s a new sheriff in town and her aim is to “round up” all kinds of information to pass on to y’all in the Tri-State area!

On a serious note, Sarah Harrison, has left us for greener pastures.  That is to say that she has retired from NWGRC WIOA in Northwest Georgia.  But it’s OK, folks.  No need to panic.  Another cowpoke will be taking up the reins to rustle up that there information to send out to you.

Meet Tammy Helbing.  She’s been with Workforce Development since 2010 and she’s got her lasso and is raring to take on the Business Informer!

She’ll be picking your brain for information relating to your area to send out to our members.  And now to ask a favor…  If you have any information you’d like to share about your region whether it’s about new businesses, existing business expansions and/or large hiring efforts, business layoffs, job fairs, employer meetings, expos (just to name a few topics) is welcomed.  Pictures are gladly welcomed too!  Just send your article(s) and picture(s) to: thelbing@nwgrc.org or call at 706.295.6485.

Also, just to let you know, there’s a little something different to the Business Informer newsletter – the distribution process has been improved.  The information will now be “blasted” out as article(s) are received to communicate the information more timely.  The current Business Informer newsletter is on the homepage of the Career Depot website, www.careerdepot.org, and older issues can be found under Newsletters, under Contents.
